Been awhile since my last read with Ane Lala. Shoots, I think we’re almost coming up to a year :U Oops…. Ah well, it was a stressful year. I was on probation with work since I was new. Any screw up would equal termination. Yadda yadda.
I was debating on weather I should blah about Ane Lala anymore or not. I figured after all this time, no one would care lols. But then I thought, well, I have the magazines, so why not. I’m only a year behind ~
And that is how we got to where we are now :P
Nothing much to blog about this issue…honestly I only really blogged in detail about Last Game’s chapter and Human System chapter 2. However, the reason for the great bulk in this post is due to Human System. It was so ridiculous that I ended up writing a full Tid-Bits like summary on it. I just…well, you’ll see. So many face-palming moments. I’m glad I read the Lala magazine because I would have cried had I bought the tank owo; The execution and pacing is so asinine that those with no Japanese understanding will be on equal footing with those that do understand Japanese – basically, no one will have any idea what’s going on haha.
Ah, enough of my bathers! To the post!
Remember when I had that plan to do one translation project a month? Yeah…I forgot about that one too ~ Well, let’s not look at the failings of the past but rather on the successes in the future (translation: I did a thing finally so let’s just focus on that hur hur). I never really paid any attention to this section in the past but in each volume of Lala is a horoscope voodoo thing. In the Feb issue was a future job predictor. I thought it’d be cool to try out to see what my predicted job should have been. Then I figured, hey why keep this to myself? Sharing is caring after all ~

Random advertisement for three new Hana to Yume manga coming out next month. All three are newbies and these releases are their firsts. (Dwahhhhh). Each hero is shown advertising for their respective manga. I’m amused by how the boys on the right and middle are super gung-ho to sell themselves while Sarii to the left is like, the fuck, I’m a fallen angel not no Billy Mayes! ಠ_ಠ
I’m definitely getting Hakoniwa Royale (Miniature Garden Royale) because video games. You all know how much I love video games (and if you didn’t know, you know now!). And we have romance too? Heck, yeah! Fucking shojo .hack right here people! I read the second one-shot awhile back and even though I was kind of lost with what happened, I enjoyed it. Ah, love video game themed stuff <3
I’ll also be grabbing Maoh Voice. Though the female is angry/tsundere, the magic shines with the demon king and his buds. I mean, look at this preview:

The only one I’m hesitating on is Ousama no Sougiten (The King’s Funeral Parlor). I read the one-shot awhile back in one of the Lalas but I wasn’t too interested. I liked Sarii (because he had no fucks to give) but the female character was…too bitchy/whiny. There was a sequel but I wasn’t interested enough to check it out xD However, I like another one-shot by this manga-ka, Namae wo Shiranai (I don’t even know your name). So it’s like…do I want to order a dish with stuff I like and stuff I don’t like included or…
I’ll just have to see just what has been collected in this tank before I make a decision I guess :3
So, I actually did stick with Ane Lala because how else would Part II exist :P The first two series were definitely fun ~ Love that they are having second chapters in the next Ane Lala.

Rather than be productive and read more Sylph, I’m instead dicking around with a new magazine called Ane Lala. If you’re familiar with the shojo genre, Lala is a popular magazine which features/d such hits like Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Natsume’s Book of Friends, Library Wars, and Vampire Knight. Recently, Lala ran advertisements for its newest line, Ane Lala. Basically, shojo for adults. No, not josei. Shojo for adults. There’s a big difference between the two. With josei, I’m used to adult related problems and sex (gotta have dem nakey scenes). With Ane Lala, it’s pretty much older people just doing things and yeah. That’s it. But mind you all I’ve only read 3 titles thus far (because they’re friggin long like Donkey Kong’s slong – yay that rhymed :3) but nothing too josei has jumped out at me. I guess even though the key thing about Ane Lala is it’s about older people, it’s still geared at tweens so we don’t want to get too risque. This isn’t Cheese, people. xD
