As I was once again geeking out on my video game website, I found another article that caught my otome loving eye:

This survey continues on with the otome survey I posted about before. Seems Aksys Games has been liking the responses garnered so far (or that just might be my optimism talking). If you’re interested in otome games having an English release (or know of those who are of this thinking), please take the survey and let Aksys Games know, WE WANT GAMES WITH DROOL WORTHY GUYS TOO ~

Aksys Games x Otome survey?

Besides loving anime and manga, I’m also a video game nerd. I ESPECIALLY love RPG games (specifically those from Japan x3 Kingdom Hearts, Wild Arms, Tales of…, Disgaea, etc.). While sniffing around on my favorite RPG news websites, RPGFAN, one article caught my eye.

“Aksys Games Reveals Otome Survey”

Naturally I spazzed at the word OTOME. For those who don’t know, Otome games are kind of like dating sim games, where instead of having one guy with lots of female love interests, it’s one girl with a bunch of fine looking specimen to choose from ;D So far to date, only I only know of one Otome game that has been released here in English: Yo-Jin-Bo (and I sadly missed getting that game Dx).

Who here WOULDN’T want Hakuouki or Heart no Kuni no Alice over here state side? If you are one who wishes to obtain this dream, please take the survey and let Aksys Games know your desire! One of the games they mention is Hakuouki! :D So if you’re dissastisfied with Chizuru getting with Hijikata (most likely, I have no proof to back this up other than gut feeling) in the anime, tell your friends, mom, heck even grandpa to take this survey and spread the word! We want Otome games too!

If you’re not interested…well…okay then…can you go tell someone who might be? K, thanks ^__^

Comic Sylph has arrived ~

Last post for today guys, honest
My order from bk1.jp came in :D
So now I have the last 2 chapters of Stray Love Hearts!!!
I plan on summarizing those after I’m done with the Hijikata Arc for Hakuouki ~
[But it may be a while due to moving and getting situated into my new apartment – plus hope the internet guys make it on time!]

I haven’t read it yet but I did flip through it and frankly, I’m shocked by how risque Ouji-sama no Tsukurikata is O_o Felt like I was reading Pichi Pichi Pichi – huge honkers, face plants into said honkers, skin tight shirts, etc. Is this really by the same person who did Pink Innocent? [Then again, I only read like a chapter of Pink Innocent so I have no idea what future chapters held] Only reason I got this one over Pink Innocent was because I heard it had devils and angels and that’s a fav genre of mine :D Oh well, maybe it’ll be better than I’m making it out to be ^^:

At least the other Nakayoshi titles are more decent…

Looking forward to more Alice :D It’s pretty obvious who Alice is going to end up with in the Heart no Kuni version (if she does end up with someone, instead of saying screw you people and going back home) so that’s why I’m glad there are the Clover no Kuni versions ~

I’m not dead yet!

Sorry for not posting in forever! I lost track of time cramming studying among other things (like getting addicted to Tokyo Majin, experiencing second-hand male PMS, getting the dog vaccinated, work,  etc. ).
Heads up: Stray Love Hearts Room #11 will probably be available sometime this week (most likely late Friday since that’s when I usually have time off some school). I managed to get about 1/4th done before I other stuff demanded my attention (I should have asked off from work >_> I never feel like doing anything after work. Forcing myself to study was not pleasing…)

On the plus side, my order from bk1.jp came ~ *heart*

My dog was not pleased when I put these manga on her bed XD

Books bought:

• Pandora Hearts (I got this mainly due to the CRACKED subs of the Pandora Hearts‘ anime omake I saw on namelissis‘s blog. They were so awesome I had to read the source material. Plus there are bishies galore!)
• Clover no Kuni no Alice ~ Waltzing with the Chester Cat (Naturally as a Boris x Alice fan I got this manga when I saw it listed on bk1.jp. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the little hiragana next to the kanji! No! Oh well, at least I have the pictures to admire until my reading skills improve more I guess…;_;)
• Heart no Kuni no Alice vol 4 (Yeah! More Heart no Kuni no Alice goodness :D I was surprised to see Joker on the cover. Heck, he’s hot so I don’t care. You can never have enough bishies!)
• Stray Love Hearts vol 1, 2, & 3 (Finally! I got the beginning volumes! Now I can figure out what in the world people are talking about in the later chapters I summarized. Yet I’m also pissed at SLH because it was the reason it took so long for my order to get shipped out. Never will I order a ‘bundle’ set again. I’ll put each volume in individually; may take me 10 more seconds to do but it’ll save me 20 days of waiting >_>;)
• Otomen vol 1 (I’m normally a little hesitant to read Hana no Yume titles because I’m still a novice but reading scanlations showed this isn’t too text heavy so I decided to give it a try. Plus I liked her other work, Soul Rescue, for all the abrupt ending it had :/. And how can you not be interested in a manga that has a cover of a guy with flowers in his hair? XD)
• Shugo Chara vol 2 (Since I read #1, time to continue with #2 :D)
• Kitchen Princess vol 2 (I’ve decided to give this series one more try. I kind of liked #1 but if this is just about people beating on Najika then I’m out >_>; Hopefully this will stand past my 2 vol test…)
• Megane Prince (Four Eyed Prince) vol 1 (I saw this as one of Del Rey’s new line up series awhile back and the title caught my eye :3 What can I say? Guys look good when wearing the right pair of glasses or at least IMHO XD)
• Hakuouki Artbook (I like the artist who draws the illustrations so I got this book just for that purpose. It’s hardcover too which impressed me greatly. The other I have is just soft cover)

New avatar!

While working on Room #14 of Stray Love Hearts, I saw color page and thought: that’s my new avatar! It reminds me of Hawaii. Sigh ~reminiscences~
Plus Hiyoki is smiling. She looks a lot more friendlier than Alice’s apathetic glare

I want to use another Heart no Kuni no Alice avatar in the future but I want one where Alice looks a bit more…cheerful. I feel bad leaving a comment and Alice is glaring at the readers haha.
