Can a Rabbit be a Pedobear?

Just some random Sylph fun ~ The following is from the series Doubutsu no Naka no Hito. When literally translated, the title in English would be People in Animals, but since I think that sounds like a kinky porno title, I changed it to The Animal People instead.

Yeah, I pulled a Tokyopop. I’m not ashamed of that.

Anyway, enjoy ~ (sorry I needed to add an extra line here because for some reason, WP skews the comic page all weird. Not gonna ask o___O)

Panel 1:
Sign: Petting Zoo

Panel 2:
Take Yuki-chan over there in the petting zoo for example – if you examine him closely, you’ll be able to find a zipper on his back.

Looks like today he has to keep his pelt on though *phew*

Panel 3
(right below panel 2, yeah I know strange)

“Yuki-chan! You’re such a hard worker!”

Panel 4:
Yuki: “There’s a lot of people today so I’ll only peek my face out ok?” <3

Panel 5:
Tsumiki: “GET OUT!” *Having a face stare at me where a back should be is just wrong!*

Note: Tsukimi actually says “People come out from inside the animals.” but that just sounds weird o___O Since I’ve been following the series, I changed her line a bit to flow better. Also, at the end, she actually says “HALF DONE JOB!” which is to say, Yuki is only half way out and it creeps her out. But I like “HAVING A FACE STARE AT ME WHERE A BACK SHOULD BE IS JUST WRONG” better xD

Title: Let’s Touch!

Sign: Petting Zoo

Yuki: “Allow me to explain how the Petting Zoo works ~”

Kids: Yay ~

Yuki: “At the Petting Zoo, we have lots of little critters. You can feed them ~”

(boxes: Chicks, guinea pigs, turtles, rabbits)

“You can hold them in your lap ~”

“You can even hug them ~”

Box: Rabbits have sensitive ears so don’t pick them up by their ears!

Yuiki: “Now, touch me children!”

Kids: “M-mister?” D8

Note: The title actually says “Let’s pet!” which is what Yuki says at the end of the 4-koma but the literal translation just doesn’t give have that wtf feel (at least to me anyway). TOUCH ME CHILDREN! sounds a lot more creeper, which would explain the children’s omfg stranger danger look xD

There are more 4-koma gags in June’s chapter but I just wanted to share the TOUCH ME CHILDREN one because it made me lol ~ If you’re interested in Animal People, please support the manga-ka when the tankoban is released 8D
