Hello there everyone,
It’s been awhile haha. The past month has been a busy one! My little crew at work has expanded to more peeps and these peeps are adventurous about shit like me :D Once a week we try and find weird ice creams to sample. Thus far we’ve had cereal ice cream (fruit loops ice cream was da besttttt), rose (the wine) ice cream, “galaxy” soft serve (no idea the flavor (other than nasty) but it turned my poop teal for a while from all the food coloring D:), pickle matcha ice cream (wasn’t as horrible as I imagined. Just like if sweet dill was diluted into an ice cream texture ~) and algae vegan ice cream (the ice cream itself was blue because of the algae and there were little chocolate and green tea cakes in the ice cream so the whole thing looked like the planet earth haha).
And when not eating, we were doing events! Bowling, Broadway plays (SpongeBob, Iceman Cometh, and Margaritaville), movies (Fireworks, Maquia, and Incredibles 2), and laser tag (the first time I’ve ever played!) are just a few of the things I’ve been attending. Much more fun than the usual boring Happy Hour adults love to do. Who has fun being in a crowded loud room, screaming at someone next to you and you not being able to hear the reply? And the only thing I like about alcohol are the bottles they come in haha.
(the adult world is cold in that if you say you’re not interested in drinking, you will be pressured into drinking or a drink will be forced bought for you. The masses are pleased if you buy one drink tho. So I’ve accepted that each happy hour, I’m burning that $10 for a drink I don’t want…all in the name of being social ; ^ ; ).
When I wasn’t being social, I was staying after to either earn vacation time (I’ll be heading back home to visit fam) or overtime $$ (to save up for my dad’s B-day present).
Needless to say my blog got neglected haha
I’m hoping to get back into the groove soon. I’ll probably switch things up. Make the magazine posts literally just posts about what’s inside and if anyone wants a summary of a chapter, I’m more than happy to provide. This way I can focus on doing chapter summaries for series I’m following in those mags. For example Kurosaki! I would love to do monthly chapter summaries for Kurosaki since it’s currently my unhealthy obsession haha
Maybe I might extend to other series but with the way life is looking, Kuro will be my focus – both manga and novel (don’t worry! I haven’t forgotten with the novel. It’s just interesting how different yet the same the two mediums are that I keep reading more of the novel to figure out how the changes pan out). I really want to hug novel Yuu. Poor girl :(
Holy snaps! All dem light novel license. So happy we’re living in a day and age where light novels are being licensed more frequently! ; ^ ;) 9 yaya! I’m probably going to read all of them at some point (I usually wait until a series is finished before I delve in) but the ones highlighted are ones I’m super excited for (and will probably buy as they are released) x3
